Give your process owners the environment and mechanisms to implement meaningful improvements in their operating model with the       Change Management Framework.

Designed to give clarity of mandate, process, existing hurdles and requirements, our standardised set of artefacts and tools strip away the noise to get your teams where they need to get to – improved processes – as efficiently as possible.

What is the        Change Management Framework?

Our framework takes the complex, time-consuming and often frustrating tasks integral to your business, and puts in place the foundation for high impact, high success rate process improvement and change delivery.

is a set of steps and tools that cut directly through the red tape, which often builds up around a business and its internal workings. Its fundamental aim is to facilitate and empower business process owners to deliver impactful change and improve processes in a standardised, consistent and continual manner.

The six steps of the framework will allow you to identify issues, create standardisation, allocate resources efficiently, forcefully execute process improvement and embed a culture of process excellence that will remain for years to come!

How does the        Framework create a path to process improvement?

Empower - Explain - Envision - Enable - Execute - Evaluate

The six steps of our framework are designed to put people and their processes back at the heart of your business improvement strategy.

Each piece of the pathway cuts through the bureaucracy and managerial levels that can hold back process improvements with a rational, reliable and repeatable approach.

It does this by:

  • Building a standardised approach with intuitive tools.

  • Identifying, assessing and prioritising inefficiencies.

  • Creating accountable process owners and empowering them to drive meaningful change.

  • Setting up robust oversight and inclusive stakeholder management.

  • Reviewing projects in-depth and learning from each, in order to build a strong culture of process excellence.

It’s simple: Business Process Owners understand their processes better than anyone else in the organisation. Too often, it is made too difficult for them to make changes seen as improvements, extensions or enhancements to the processes they own.

By giving your Process Owners a mandate not only to run the processes, but a high degree of autonomy to improve those processes – you simultaneously create a more effective operating model and a more engaged , invested workforce.

In practical terms, this means you must be prepared to devolve a degree of control – and budget – to your Process Owners. In order to ensure the approach is effective , it is essential that the senior stakeholders sponsoring the improvement effort commit full support to the initiative

In our view, you cannot change or improve what you cannot explain or describe.
Processes that need to be changed or enhanced need to be described in their current state at a level of detail sufficient to clearly highlight and articulate the change requirements needed for future state development.

Our approach to business process capture with our Opmodal software removes the inevitable drag and inefficiency associated with creating process maps and accompanying documentation from scratch.

Use our Opmodal software to take out all the hard work in creating process maps and accompanying documentation.

Capture and compare current and future target states of a process with Opmodal. The use of our tailored Change Proposal and supporting Scorecard allows your Process Owners to prioritise the right projects and ensure that improvements being proposed fall within the boundaries of their remit.

Crucially – the Scorecard also:

  • Facilitates comparison with other proposals to assist prioritisation, and

  • Provides a reference point for post-change Evaluation.

You’re now ready to build a Change Execution Plan. We help you with expert knowledge to ensure it is successful and use our background in project execution to set up a Change Board. This consists of the Process Owners, the E6 Process Excellence Programme Sponsor(s), a dedicated Change Manager and, crucially, representation from the teams required to deliver on the type of changes being presented to the Change Board.

It is this key engagement between stakeholders and the teams responsible for the delivery that ensures a high degree of ownership and commitment to deliver what the Board signs off as a viable Change Execution Plan.

Our framework is designed to clear the way for the execution of what is necessary. We enable you to put your time and energy into dealing with those unavoidable challenges – rather than wasting time & money getting to the sharp end. However, change can still be technically or organisationally challenging, and our experts will be on hand throughout to help.

The Evaluate step supports a pragmatic, post-Execution review of whether the end-to-end process was successful through our Change Evaluation Matrix. We will help you to take learnings from each project, so that every time you step back down the pathway of process improvement, your chances of success are maximised, and a culture of excellence is nurtured and grown.
